The Royal Canadian Air Force's iconic Snowbirds are touring across the country right now, in support of the frontline workers in healthcare during #COVID19. This super cool initiative has been named "Operation Inspiration".
They did a quick flyover the city of Moncton today. I didn't quite know where they would be going, but I assumed they would go near the hospitals, so I found a vantage point on the Université de Moncton campus where you can actually see the city's two hospitals, hoping I had chosen a good spot. As it turns out, I guessed right!
After the flyover, it was announced that they would land at the airport to refuel before taking off and continuing their journey across Canada, so I went for a drive to the airport to catch another glimpse of these awesome planes. One of the pilots event said Hello to me and my kids, how about that!
For this shoot, I used my Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports with my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
