Earlier this week, I dusted off my night photography skills (it had been a while) and went out to Fort Beausejour - Fort Cumberland National Historic Site with my buddy Pascal for a milky way shoot. Always nice to do these shoots with a buddy, as it makes the night funner and it provides someone to help you throw some light on the scene as you take the shot!
The conditions were perfect: Zero moonlight, zero clouds, zero mosquitoes and zero wind! And for those of you not familiar with Fort Beausejour, it is located in the middle of a marsh, on a hill, by the Bay of Fundy. So to have no wind there is a rare event, and being in a marsh, the fact that there were no mosquitoes there was a miracle!
